Welcome to Smith Creek Fish Farm
Since 1993, Smith Creek Fish Farm has been a family-owned and operated, New York State certified fish hatchery, providing pond supplies, live pond fish, and aquatic management services for lakes and ponds of all sizes. Located just an hour from Buffalo or Rochester, NY, our 22-acre facility features nine display ponds, a 20,000 sq. ft. hatchery, a 1,000 sq. ft. greenhouse, and thirty-nine aquaculture ponds.
We offer a wide range of products, including Pond dye, natural water treatments, algae control, Kasco fountains, aerators, and de-icer units. Our selection of fish includes Triploid Grass Carp, Fathead Minnows, Trout, Largemouth Bass, Channel Catfish, as well as Koi, Japanese Trapdoor snails, and pond plants for garden ponds.
In addition to pond supplies and stocking, we provide expert services like fountain and aeration installation, certified chemical treatments, and wetland delineation to support healthy aquatic ecosystems and responsible land management.

Great price fast delivery and perfect for my koi pond filtration needs. Well made and durable sheet.
I have a 1/4 acre pond that is 11’ in depth. I used one quart of dye and it is amazing how nice the color of my pond became. I am hoping it will control weed growth this summer. One very important thing, wear the supplied gloves! I didn’t and had blue hands for days!
