Live Fathead Minnows are shipped safely in a double-wall corrugated box (with insulation and ice packs when temperatures are above 80 degrees). Your fish are safely secured in 3.5 mil double-bottom sealed polyethylene bags containing pure oxygen. We pack your fish to ship safely for 36+ hours, but they should be released as soon as delivered.
Please prepare for delivery by having someone available to accept your order of Fathead Minnows from your FedEx delivery person OR leave a note indicating a cool, safe place to put the box until you arrive home to release your fish We 100% guarantee your fish will arrive safely. One-year-old fish range in size from 0.5 inches to 3 inches depending on temperature and food supply. Fathead minnows become sexually mature at 1 to 3 inches and seldom exceed 3 inches.

Our expert fish packers will oxygen bag your fish for easy, safe, and stress-free transport. We do suggest bringing coolers or totes to hold your bagged fish.
Truck delivery of trout, game fish, and forage is available in the WNY area when orders meet our delivery minimums. We also safely ship, by UPS Next Day Air, many of our fish species including triploid grass carp and crayfish. Unfortunately, we ONLY ship fish to New York addresses. All of our fish are 2025 NY DEC certified disease-free and have been for more than 15 years in a row.
