❄️ Winter: Gas Exchange & Ice Safety

• Shallow Aeration (Crucial): Move your diffused aerator plates to shallow water (half their normal depth). Aerating the deepest water in winter will mix freezing water throughout the pond, super-cooling the lake and killing the fish.
