 A powerful 1/4 HP Rotary Vane Aerator Basic System delivers diffused air to as much as 2 acres of pond. With a shore-mounted air compressor, oxygen is pumped through a hose to special diffusers laying on the pond's floor. Since that's where most oxygen is used, it's an ideal spot for delivery. Bubbles rising from the diffusers create circulation, preventing water stratification and establishing a resilient ecosystem, brimmed with productivity.

Shape and depth both play a key role in the amount of surface area this aerator can effectively cover; for long, narrow ponds, you may need multiple diffusers. On the other hand, one central diffuser is often enough for square, circular, and oval ponds up to 1 acre. The PA50 1/4 HP Rotary Vane Aerator is designed for 24-hour operation, with an oil-less design that requires no electricity in the water. Simply mount the compressor to the shore and connect it to a bottom-mounted diffuser for safe, efficient aeration. You can choose between 115v and 230v.
