Prazi-Power Powder does not stress your pond fish or damage filter biologics, an excellent treatment for internal worms in goldfish and koi. One or Two treatments of Prazi-Power and no water changes. Note: We suggest treating every spring to get your pond fish off to a great year and every fall before you put your fish to sleep for the winter. 10g per 1000 Gallons or 1/4 tsp per 40 gallons. Prazi-Power Powder works by paralyzing the parasite and allowing the fish and koi to shed the parasite.
Treating a tank, pond ar as a bath: Start the treatment with as large a partial water change as safely possible in the pond or aquarium to be treated. Do not stop filtration but remove the activated carbon and stop foam fractionation ("protein skimming"). Add enough Prazi-Power Powder to produce a dosage of 2.5 mg/L (9,4625 mg/gal; 946.25 mg/100 gal); vigorously shake the dosage with at least 1 quart of water for 3-5 minutes to produce a slurry. Adding grain alcohol (190⁰ ethanol) directly to the dry Prazi power in approximately equal volume will help to dissolve the Prazi-Power into the water. Pour the slurry into a 5-gallon bucket of water and mix well. Then distribute the mixture around the edge of the pond or tank, or pour it into the filter or pond skimmer to achieve maximum distribution in the water. A single treatment of 7 days is usually sufficient. Do not use any other drugs or treatments.
Making Feed: To each 100 grams (3.5 oz.) of dry feed (flake, granular, or pellet) thoroughly mix in 400 mg of Prazi-Power Powder. Moisten the dry mixture with 25 to 50 mL of grain alcohol (190⁰ ethanol) for every 100 grams of dry feed; gently blend the moistened mixture to incorporate the Prazi into the feed. Feed daily for 5 to 7 days. Allow the mixture to air dry (do not heat), break up any clumps, package, and store in a cool, dry place.
